Scotland’s Mental Health Partnership (SMHP) has released a statement following the resignation of Kevin Stewart MSP from his post as Minister for Transport.
“Scotland’s Mental Health Partnership sends our good wishes to Kevin Stewart MSP. We worked closely with Kevin during his time as Minister for Mental Wellbeing and Social Care and appreciate his service in government.
“We welcome Kevin’s openness in acknowledging that he needs to take time out and hope that his honesty will contribute to reducing mental health stigma. We send Kevin our best wishes for the future and hope he has a full recovery.”
